We are proud to have organized a Round Table of Technical and Financial Partners on June 26, 2024.

The African Association of Urban Mobility Authorities (AUMA) was created in 2023 in Abidjan. Faced with the demographic explosion and rapid urbanization of the continent, AUMA is committed to promoting sustainable, inclusive and accessible solutions for all.

This Wednesday’s event marked an important milestone, presenting our ambitious 2024-2028 business plan aimed at building strategic partnerships with financial institutions, development agencies and NGOs. We were encouraged by the participation of technical and financial partners – including AFD – Agence Française de Développement, African Development Bank Group, CODATU, the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, and UITP among others – who expressed their interest and commitment to supporting our mission.

Together, we are shaping the future of sustainable urban mobility in Africa, fostering strategic partnerships to advance transformative urban mobility initiatives.
