Doctor in Transport Economics from the National School of Bridges and Roads – University of Paris Est, Thierno Birahim AW has more than 20 years of professional experience in transport and mobility in urban and regional environments.
Since the end of 2016, he has been Director General of CETUD, and project manager of the Bus Rapid Transit pilot project in Dakar, with its 100% electric buses and stations powered by solar energy.
