Antonio dos Santos is the Director General of the Agência Metropolitana de Transportes de Maputo (AMT), responsible for overseeing public transportation in the greater Maputo area, including the cities of Maputo, Matola, Boane, and Marracuene. Under his leadership, AMT has focused on enhancing urban mobility through the implementation of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS) for the region. This initiative aims to address the challenges of rapid urban growth, road congestion, and a largely informal transport system by integrating sustainable and efficient transport solutions
